This week, there were a number of traffic regulation orders highlighted for the Penarth and surrounding areas.

These orders relate to a number of streets and will impose restrictions on parking or waiting on the streets. The full order can be seen on the Public Notice Portal.

Machen Place

In Machen place, there is a schedule 3 restriction from the southwest side from its junction with Wyndham Street for a seven-metre southeast distance will face restrictions.

Mandeville Place

A schedule 3 restriction for Mandeville Place on its northeast side, from its junction with Mandeville Street for a five-metre northwest span and from a point 20 metres northwest of its junction with Mandeville Street to its closed end, will also experience changes.

Mandeville Street

The southwest side will also see schedule 3 modifications.

They begin from its junction with Neville Street extending seven metres southwest, and from a point five metres northeast of its junction De Burgh Street to a point five metres southwest of the same junction.

Tudor Lane

Tudor Lane on its north side will see changes from its junction with Claire Road for a distance of 85 meters east.

Wyndham Street

On the south-west side, there will be changes from a point 18 metres south-east of the junction with Heath Street for five metres, and from a point seven metres north-west of the junction with Machen Place to the same junction. The final one for Tudor Lane is on its west side from the junction with Machen Place for five metres south-west and on the east side from the same junction for five metres south-west.

Beauchamp Street

The street is affected for parking under schedule 3 on its west side from the junction with Despenser Street to a point seven metres south-east of the junction, and from a point seven metres north-west of the junction with Despenser Gardens to a point five metres south-east of the junction. There is also a parking restriction on both sides from the junction with Despenser Place for seven metres north-west.

There is also a schedule 5 notice for the north-east side from a point seven metres north of the Despenser Place junction for 88 metres in a north-west direction as well as from a point 10 metres south-east of the closed junction with Despenser Place for 80 metres south-east. On the south-west side there is a schedule 5 notice from 10 metres south-east of the closed junction with Despenser Place for 51 metres in a south-east direction and from a point seven metres north of Despenser Place for 25 metres north0west and from a point 45 metres north-west of the junction for 18 metres in a north-west direction.

Brook Street

Brook Street will have schedule 3 parking restrictions on the north-east side from its junction with Coldstream Terrace for seven metres south-west.

There will also be schedule 5 restrictions on the north side from six metres east of the western access to Brook Lane to a point six metres west of the eastern access to the same lane. Also from a point seven metres west of the Coldstream Terrace junction for 25 metres west. On the south side there is a restriction from a point 24 metres east of the Lower Cathedral Road junction for 15 metres in an east direction. There is also a restriction from a point three metres east of the Despenser Lane junction to a point six metres west of the extended western kerbline for Plantagenet Street and from a point one metre east of the kerbline for 50 metres in an easterly direction.

Claire Gardens

Claire Gardens has a schedule 5 restriction on the south-east side from a point seven metres north-east of the Gloucester Street junction to a point seven metres south-west of the Claire Street Junction.

Claire Place

Claire Place has schedule 3 parking restrictions from the junction with Claire Road for seven metres south-west on both sides.

Claire Street

Claire Street has schedule 3 parking restrictions on the north side from the junction with Despenser Street to a point 43 metres south-east of the junction with Despenser Gardens and on the south-west side from the junction with Neville Street to a point 32 metres south-east of the junction with Claire Gardens and from a point 25 metres north-west of the junction with Clare Place to a point 10 metres south-east of the junction.

Claire Street also has a schedule 4 restriction in place on the north-east side from 36 metres north-west of the Tudor Street junction for 21 metres in a north-west direction. There is also one on the south-west side from a point 29 metres north-west of the junction for 31 metres in a north-west direction.

There is a schedule 5 restriction for the south-west side from a point 32 metres south-east of the junction with Claire Place for 28 metres in a south-east direction. A schedule 5 restriction also affects the south-east side from a point 58 metres north-west of the Tudor Street junction for 67 metres north-west.

Claire Road (A4119)

Schedule 3 restrictions on both sides between the junction with Tudor Lane and Pendyris Street and Court Road.
