This week, there were several traffic regulation orders highlighted for Penarth and surrounding areas.
These orders relate to a number of streets and will impose restrictions on parking or waiting on the streets. This is the second part of the list. The full order can be seen on the Public Notice Portal.
Coldstream Terrace
The south-west side between the Brook Street and Mark Lane junctions and the north-east side from Mark Lane junction for 20 metres north-west has a schedule 3 restriction.
There is a schedule 5 restriction on the east side from a point 15 metres south of the Cowbridge Road East junction for 130 metres south.
De Burgh Place
The schedule 3 restriction is on both sides from the junction with Neville Street for seven metres south-west.
De Burgh Street
There is a schedule 5 restriction on the north east side from a point five metres south-east of the Mandeville Street junction to a point five metres north-west of the De Burgh Place junction and from a point five metres south-east of the same junction to a point 40 metres north-west of the Neville Place junction.
Another schedule 5 restriction is in place on the south-west side from a point 30 metres north-west of the Neville Place junction to a point five metres south-east of the Heath Street junction and from a point five metres north-west of the same junction to a point five metres south-east of the Mandeville Street junction.
Despenser Gardens
Despenser Gardens has a schedule 3 restriction on both sides from the closure of the junction with Claire Street for 13 metres north-east and from the junction with Beauchamp Street for seven metres south-west.
There is also a schedule 5 restriction on the south-east side from a point 13 metres east of the closure with Claire Street to a point 10 metres west of the junction with Beauchamp Street.
Despenser Place
A schedule 3 restriction on both of its sides from the closed junctions with Claire Road for eight metres north-east and Fitzhamon Embankment for 8.5 metres south-west. It also affects the north-west side from 10 metres south-west of the junction with Beauchamp Street to a point 10 metres north-east of the junction as well as 10 metres south-west of the junction with Plantagenet Street to a point nine metres north-east of the junction.
There is a schedule 5 restriction on the north-west side from a point nine metres east of the Claire Street closure for 13 metres east, from a point 24 metres south-west of the Beauchamp Street junction to a point 10 metres south-west of the same junction for 16 metres north-east. There is also a schedule 5 restriction from a point 23 metres south-west of the Plantagenet Street junction for 12 metres in a north-east direction and from a point nine metres north-east of the same junction for seven metres in a north-east direction.
Another schedule 5 restriction in place covers from a point 8.5 metres south-west of the close junction with Fitzhamon Embankment for 12 metres in a north-east direction and from a point nine metres north-east of the same junction for seven metres north-east. There is also one from a point nine metres east of the closure with Claire Street for 18 metres in an easterly direction and from a point 39 metres north-east of the junction for 25 metres in a north-east direction.
There is also a schedule 5 order affecting the area from a point 74 metres of the same junction for 25 metres in a north-east direction, from a point 55 metres south-west of the closed Fitzhamon Embankment junction for 28 metres in a south-west direction and from a point 8.5 metres south-west of the same junction for 36.5 metres in a south-west direction.
Despenser Street
A schedule 3 restriction affects the north side from the junction with Lower Cathedral Road for 30 metres east and from a point 26 metres west of the junction with Plantagenet Street to a point seven metres east of the junction. On the south side, it is affected from the junction with Fitzhamon Embankment for 15 metres east and from seven metres north-west of the junction with Beauchamp Street for seven metres south-east of the junction. There is also one on the south side for 15 metres south-east from the junction with Claire Street.
Fitzhamon Embankment
Affected on the south-west side for 15 metres south-east from the Despenser Street junction and for 35 metres north from a point seven metres south-east of the junction with Despenser Place. On the north-east side it is affected for 107 metres south-east of the junction with Despenser Street. This is a schedule 3 restriction.
Gloucester Street
Will be affected on the south west side from the Tudor Street junction for 10 metres north-west and on the north-east side from the same junction for 13 metres north-west. This is a schedule 3 restriction.
Lower Cathedral Road (A419)
Will be affected with a schedule 3 restriction on the west side from the Cowbridge Road East junction for 52 metres south, and from the Neville Street junction for 20 metres in a northerly direction. It will be affected on the east side from the Cowbridge Road East junction for 37 metres and for 30 metres in a northerly direction from Despenser Street.
Green Street
The road will be affected with a schedule 3 restriction on the north side from the junction with Lower Cathedral Road for 21 metres around the junction and on the south side from the same junction to a point 18 metres around the junction. It will also be affected from a point seven metres north-east of the junction with Mark Street on the south-east side to a point seven metres south-west of the junction.
Mark Street
Will be affected on both sides from the junction with Coldstream Terrace for seven metres south-west. This is a schedule 3 restriction.
Neville Street
Neville Street will have a schedule 3 restriction on the north-east side from the Lower Cathedral Road junction for 48 metres north-west and from a point eight metres north-west of the junction with De Burgh Street to a point 10 metres south-east of the same junction. The same junctions are affected on the south-west side for a distance of 43 metres north-west from the Lower Cathedral Road Junction and from a point eight metres north-west of the De Burgh Street junction to a point 10 metres south-east of the junction.
Plantagenet Street
Is affected on both sides with a schedule 3 restriction from the junction with Despenser Street for six metres. On the north-east side from the Despenser Place junction side six metres north-west and from 18.6 metres north-west of the junction for 11.4 metres north-west. It will be affected on the south-west side from the junction with Despenser Place for 10 metres north-west.
Rawden Place
The street has a schedule 3 restriction that affects both sides for eight metres north-east from the junction with Neville Street.
Tudor Street
Tudor Street has a schedule 4 notice in place on the north-east side from the junction with Beauchamp Street for 15 metres north-west and from the Plantagenet Street junction for 20 metres north-west. On the south-west side, there is a restriction in place for 24 metres in a north-west direction from 26 metres north-west of the junction with Claire Road.
