It is set to be a wet end to the week in Penarth with not one but two yellow weather warnings for rain.
The Met Office declared the warnings for Thursday, September 5 and Friday, September 6 to conclude the first week of September.
The first warning covered from 9pm on Wednesday, September 4 until 11.45pm on Thursday.
The second warning will commence at midnight Thursday and continue until 11.59pm on Friday. Both warnings cover the majority of south-east Wales and south-west England.
Predicted outcomes include potential flooding, road closures, and difficult driving conditions.
There could be delays or cancellations to train and bus services.
Thursday morning's forecast anticipates a dry but cloudy start, followed by light rain from 11am and heavy rainfall from 1pm.
The temperature will peak at 16 degrees, with gusts around 30mph.
Friday presents a mixed forecast, with early rain shifting to a potentially dry, cloudy day after 7am.
Light showers are expected from 4pm, continuing for the day.
The day should be warmer with highs of 20 degrees.
However, Saturday, September 7 promises a brighter outlook with temperatures around 19 degrees and gusts at 17mph. It is set to be dry, as is the majority of Sunday, September 8 although there are showers predicted early in the morning and around 1pm.
On Monday, September 9 it is set to be the better day, with sunny intervals throughout the afternoon and temperatures at 20 degrees.
