Three Penarth planning applications have been submitted to the Vale of Glamorgan Council in the last week.
The applications all relate to work on properties.
Alterations/extension to Flat 2A, 15, Marine Parade, Penarth.
The application proposes alterations and an extension to Flat 2A, 15 Marine Parade.
The plans indicate that timber-framed walls with dark grey composite cladding and aluminium framed double-glazed windows will be used in the extension.
The extension will add an extra 13sqm, allowing upgrades to the bathroom and kitchen.
Previous extensions have been made to Flats 1A and 1B.
Replacement windows and stone wall work
This application relates to refitting all external windows at 32, Stanwell Road.
Citing that "all have been deemed to be in poor or very poor condition" by Inspire Windows, a window installation company, the owner intends to mostly replicate the former design, with UPVC casement windows.
Amendments include the introduction of vents, resizing a kitchen window and switching a bathroom sash window and existing timber French doors with UPVC.
A gate and stone wall are also earmarked for repairs.
Replacement of existing pitched and flat roof structures
This application refers to alterations to the roof structures of the Ground Floor Flat, 8 Park Road.
The existing single storey structure, part of a three-storey semi-detached property with a forecourt and garden, reportedly suffers from a poorly designed existing pitched and flat roof leading to water ingress.
The aim is to rectify longstanding issues through this application.
