A number of events will be taking place in Penarth over the coming week.
The events range from a festival and yoga event to charity walks and live music.
To The Sea
Returning to Penarth is To The Sea / I'r Mor, a festival of circus and outdoor arts created by Splatch Productions, in partnership with the Vale of Glamorgan.
The festival will be held from Thursday, September 12 to Sunday, September 15 and will include performances, comedy, and creativity at outdoor venues across Penarth, with the finale show from No Fit State Circus at Cosmeston Medieval Village.
The festival advises attendees to be prepared for unpredictable weather and most importantly, come prepared to have fun as the event is free for all.
Full event details can be found on the Splatch Productions Facebook page and the festival website.
Walk to Remember
On Saturday, September 14, a peaceful sunrise walk from Penarth Pier to Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice named "Walk to Remember" is planned, starting at 6am.
This walk is to remember loved ones and raise funds for Tŷ Hafan.
Registration starts from £5 for 11 to 17-year-olds, and £10 for adults, with a fundraising target of £100.
The registration fee includes a fundraising pack, a hot drink upon arrival, a breakfast roll at the finish line, and Tŷ Hafan t-shirt when the fundraising target is reached.
Live classic rock
Bendrick's Rock will host a night of live classic rock at the Penarth Ex-Serviceman's Club on Saturday, September 14.
