It is set to be a mostly dry weekend for Penarth, although a possibility of some light showers during Thursday, September 12.

The Met Office says there could be some light showers around 1pm and 3pm on Thursday, however it will be mostly sunny intervals and turning sunny at 6pm before a clear night.

Temperatures are set to hit a high of 12 degrees but it will feel like 10 due to strong winds, as high as 32mph.

Friday, September 13, will start sunny from 7am, switching to sunny intervals from 10am, and then turning cloudy from 7pm.

Despite a forecast high of 14 degrees, it will feel like 12.

Gusts are expected to calm, reaching around 17mph.

Temperatures will progressively increase over the weekend with Saturday, September 14, forecast for sunny intervals and a high of 16 degrees, though it will feel like 15, with winds reaching speeds of 24mph.

Sunday, September 15, will also be full of sunny intervals, with temperatures reaching 17 degrees, mirroring the sensation temperatures on Saturday.

It is forecast winds will maintain speeds of 22mph.

To start the new week on Monday, September 16, it will be partly sunny, with intervals of sun after a cloudy morning and before a cloudy evening.

Temperatures are predicted to reach 17 degrees but will feel closer to 16.

It will also be the least gusty day, with winds around 15mph.
