THE new restaurant and bar, Hickmans, let us inside to get a sneak peek before it officially opens.

The former Blockbuster building will officially opened its doors on Windsor Road in Penarth on September 27.

The interior design of the bar and restaurant was done by Sarah Raegan from the company Scour Interior Design.

"My feeling is that people will move around the different spaces - transitioning  from coffee time to wine o'clock through to dinner and then pop to the bar before happily heading home.

"I’d love people to see Hickmans as their second home - and one they simply won't want to leave," said Sarah.
