A number of planning applications in the Penarth area have recently been decided by the Vale of Glamorgan Council.
Here are the applications that have been approved by the council between September 23 and September 29.
Demolish existing conservatory and replace with masonry extension single storey.
Permission has been granted to demolish a conservatory and replace it with a masonry, single-storey extension at 160 Westbourne Road, Penarth.
The plan also includes replacing a bay window with French doors in the rear bedroom.
The work must start within five years and adhere to the approved plans, including the implementation of biodiversity enhancements.
Tesco new click and collect parking
The council has approved a new click and collect parking system at the Tesco Superstore on Terra Nova Way.
This includes double canopy parking bays, safety zones, and 12 new bollards.
All work should follow the approved plans and a biodiversity enhancement strategy which must be created and implemented within set timescales.
The installation of a proposed leachate treatment plant with roof mounted solar panels
Approval has been granted for the installation of a leachate treatment plant, complete with roof-mounted solar panels, to be situated within the grounds of the former Plymouth Park Landfill Site.
Conditions stipulate that work must start within five years and follow the approved plans, including ecological assessment and landscaping provisions.
Single storey side and rear extension including new solar panels
The council approved a single-storey side and rear extension at Red Gables, Sully Road.
The plan includes the installation of new solar panels.
The work must start within five years and adhere to approved plans and biodiversity enhancements.
Removal of front porch, rear conservatory and roof of existing garage.
Planning permission was granted for extensive home renovation at Talar Fôr, 31 Whitcliffe Drive, Penarth.
The approved plans include removal of the front porch, rear conservatory, garage roofing, as well as the extension of the house and replacement of all external doors and windows.
Conditions include adherence to approved plans, biodiversity enhancement measures, and specified obscure glazing in sensitive areas to preserve neighbour privacy.
