A MAN has been arrested after a cannabis factory found in a house after police officers searched the property.
Officers attended the house on Bromsgrove Street, Grangetown, Cardiff last Thursday afternoon on September 26 after concerns were raised.
More than 60 plants were seized from the property along with around 650 grams of loose cannabis flowering head.
Romano Ducy, 23, appeared at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court the next day charged with being concerned in the cultivation of cannabis.
In a post on social media, South Wales Police said: “We have a zero-tolerance approach to drugs and this is just one example of the work we are doing in #Grangetown.
“We can, and regularly do, act upon the information provided to us by the public, so please keep it coming.
“We would encourage people to please continue to report suspicious behaviour and suspected drug dealing in their neighbourhood to us.”
