Three Penarth planning applications were approved by the Vale of Glamorgan Council in the last week.
Here are the applications that were approved between September 30 and October 6.
New roof vent for wood-burning stove
The addition of a new roof vent for the proposed relocation of an existing wood-burning stove in a 1970s extension has been approved.
The work, planned for a property on Victoria Road, must begin within five years of the approval date and adhere to the approved plans.
The flue must be finished in matt black paint during installation and maintained in this finish for the duration of its use.
Biodiversity and green infrastructure enhancements must be completed before the first use of the development and maintained as approved.
Trees or plants that die, are removed, or become seriously damaged or diseased within five years of the development's completion must be replaced in the next planting season with ones of a similar size and species.
Garage conversion to utility room and office
Approval has been granted for the conversion of a garage into a new utility room and office on Britten Road.
The work must start within five years and follow the approved plans.
Biodiversity and green infrastructure enhancements must be completed before the first use of the development and maintained as approved.
Any trees or plants that die, are removed, or become seriously damaged or diseased within five years of the development's completion must be replaced in the next planting season with others of similar size and species.
Replacement of sash windows
Listed building consent has been granted for the replacement of a selection of sash windows at the front of a property on Archer Road.
The work must start within five years of approval and be carried out according to the approved plans.
Before any work begins, joinery details for the new windows must be submitted to, and approved in writing by, the council's planning authority.
The work must then be carried out in accordance with the approved details.
Biodiversity enhancement measures must be completed before the development's completion and maintained as approved.
Despite the window replacements, historic glazing in windows W6 and W3-13 will be retained.
