A man from Cardiff has taken over the ownership of the seated sports business Rise.
Joe Guishard 44, has taken over ownership of Rise, a seated sport business which delivers a range of adapted seated sports activities and community based social care.
After working as a police officer for 6 years, Joe made the transition into the care industry when his grandmother required extra assistance.
His previous experience includes running care franchise Right at Home, which provides home care to vulnerable adults.
He’s been running Right at Home since 2012 which offers services across Cardiff, Newport, Bridgend, and Vale of Glamorgan.Commenting on his new role Joe said: “It all stemmed from a chance conversation with an existing Rise franchisee who explained the business opportunity.
“With already owning a home care company and having a great understanding of the Welsh business model, Rise felt like the perfect addition that would complement my existing business, skills and team.”
The Rise brand was launched in September 2021, and now has a number of territories being launched across the UK.
Its services help people get active, improve their wellbeing, and boost fitness levels through its unique adapted sports programs.
