A free collection service for leaves and fallen fruit has been launched by the Vale of Glamorgan Council after last year's pilot.
The council has introduced the service for leaves and fruit that have fallen on public land.
From Wednesday, October 16, residents can book a free collection for leaves and fruit that have fallen outside their property online.
The service will run until December 13. Residents who have a paid garden waste subscription can put leaves and windfall fruit in the garden waste bags for collection up until November 29.
Councillor Mark Wilson, cabinet member for neighbourhood services and transport, said: "Our cleansing team work hard to keep the pavements safe and clean all year round.
"But with a lot of ground to cover, they always welcome a little help.
"After piloting the scheme last year, I am delighted to see the collection service officially launch.
"I hope the scheme makes it easier for community groups and those residents who don’t have a garden waste subscription to clear their roads."
