An art exhibition focusing on accessibility is set to open in Penarth.
The Art Life Society will present the "Necessity or Desire?" exhibition at the Turner House Gallery from October 31 to November 17.
The event will showcase works by talented amateur and professional artists from across the region.
The exhibition aims to highlight the need for improved accessibility to the arts for those with mobility impairments.
A spokesperson for the gallery said: "This exciting exhibition will not only display works of talented amateur and professional artists from across the region, but will also highlight the need for improved accessibility to the arts for those with mobility impairments."
The Art Life Society, a not-for-profit organisation based in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, has chosen to explore the theme of "Necessity or Desire?" in the forthcoming exhibition.
The artists will be investigating and illustrating conflicting or concordant aspects of the topic using a variety of mediums.
Turner House, a Grade 1 listed building, will only display artwork on the accessible ground floor.
The upper level is not accessible to those with mobility impairments.
The Art Life Society exhibition will adhere to its constitution and strong beliefs in accessibility.
