A Penarth bookshop is set to have an interesting November with a number of events lined up.
Griffin Books will host bestselling author Jonathan Coe, known for The Rotter's Club and Middle England, at Penarth Pier Pavilion on Tuesday, November 5.
He will discuss his latest novel, The Proof of My Innocence.
Later that week, on Thursday, November 7, Tessa Hadley will launch her new novel, The Party, which is set in post-war Bristol and follows two sisters coming-of-age.
Griffin Books will mark Remembrance Day with a special talk by Martin Wade.
He will discuss his new book, On Dragons’ Wings, which explores the history of the No. 614 (Vale of Glamorgan) Squadron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force, in its centenary year.
A current serving member of the squadron, Mr Wade will provide an insider's perspective on its history.
Finally, on November 16, bestselling author Matt Haig will discuss his latest novel The Life Impossible, a story about hope and new beginnings.
