Two shoplifters arrested and charged have been banned from travelling into Penarth town centre.
The arrests were part of police investigations into shoplifting offences in the town centre.
Joseph Simmonds, 26, and Dean Barry, 45, both from Penarth, have been charged with shoplifting.
The pair have been granted bail, banning them from Penarth town centre.
In a post on Facebook, South Wales Police Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan said: “Police would like to reassure the public that people travelling into Penarth town centre to commit crime will be identified and prosecuted.”
