SOUTH WALES POLICE are investigating rural crime taking place in isolated farming communities.
The crimes include illegal hunting, hare coursing and damage to farmland by vehicles trespassing.
Barry and Vale police officers have seized vehicles and dogs during their investigations.
In a post on Facebook, South Wales Police Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan said:
"South Wales Police are working in partnership with the RSPCA who are also investigating.
"Officers have identified dogs and vehicles used in this activity and they have subsequently been seized.
"Our rural crime officers play a vital role in keeping our rural communities and areas safe.
"We are working with the rural community of the Vale of Glamorgan, and we will always investigate incidents of this nature, and anyone involved in this activity will be prosecuted."
