The Solo Portrait Art exhibition by Louise John was held in Dinas Powys library.
The event was praised by both the artist and Chris Franks, chair of trustees.
The library hopes to host more art events in the future.
Ms John expressed her gratitude for the professional and relaxed atmosphere, crediting staff members Phil and Janet for their assistance.
The library trustees are eager to showcase more artwork in the building.
