PENARTH Rugby Football Club hosted a ‘Fireworks Fiesta’ bonfire night event which hundreds of people attended. 

The Fireworks Fiesta event held on November 5 cost £5 at the gate which opened at 6.30pm. 

Those attending were greeted by crowds of residents who turned up to see the large firework display.

Hot food and drinks with licensed bars were available with mulled wine for sale for only £3. 

On the misty evening, the crowds gathered on the grass eagerly waiting for the display to begin. 

The young children at the event were happily using sparklers, some for the first time.

As the fireworks were set off, the crowd all looked up to watch the display – one child was lifted on his dad’s shoulders to get a better view. 

There was an excited atmosphere as the crowd cheered and joyfully laughed at the different fireworks on display.
