There are a number of events taking place in Penarth to keep people of all ages entertained.
Here are some of the events taking place this coming week (November 28 to December 4).
Festive Wreathmaking at Penarth Pier Pavilion
On Sunday, December 1, Penarth Pier Pavilion will host a festive wreath-making event.
Toni Horne of award-winning Lily Pad Florist will guide attendees in creating their own Christmas wreaths with a variety of natural materials.
The event begins at 1.30pm and ends at 3.30pm.
A glass of mulled wine and a mince pie will be provided.
Tickets cost £52.95 plus a booking fee.
The event is suitable for people aged 16 and over and spaces are limited.
Choir taster session
On Thursday, November 28 at 7.45pm, Fairfield Primary School will host a free choir taster session.
The session is run by vocal teacher Paul Mansford and will give attendees the chance to see if they would like to join the Penarth Rock Choir.
The choir is open to people of all abilities and is popular for its social events and pop song arrangements.

RWCMD Big Band, Ella and the Count Basie Orchestra
On Friday, November 29, the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama Big Band will perform at Penarth Pavilion.
The concert will begin at 7.30pm, with doors opening at 7pm.
The band will perform songs by Ella Fitzgerald and the Count Basie Orchestra.
The concert is part of the RWCMD-in-Residence programme, a series of creative projects from Royal Welsh College musicians and recent graduates, presented in partnership with Penarth Pier Pavilion.
Tickets cost £12.95 per person plus a booking fee.
Seating is unreserved.
Morning mini music
On Wednesday, December 4, Penarth Pier Pavilion will host a morning mini music session.
The session will run from 9.30am to 10.15am.
Tickets cost £6 per child plus a booking fee.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The event is part of the RWCMD-in-Residence programme, a series of creative projects from Royal Welsh College musicians and recent graduates, presented in partnership with Penarth Pavilion.
The sessions are aimed at children under five and their parent or guardian.
Tickets are limited to 20 children per session.
