With reference to an article about a dangerous bus stop in High Street/Harbour View Road...
If drivers who approach the bend slow down and don’t go on the opposite side of the road they would see a bus, it is big enough.
Also, stop Cab 64 taxis parking along there as their base is in Glebe Street.
The bus is a great thing for people who have not got cars.
Especially going to the hospital.
No one is complaining about people driving fast after the pubs close or going too fast down Queens Road and lorries getting stuck because it is too narrow
The bus is okay where it parks. Drivers should slow down and take care in light of what is ahead of them.
If it is permitted, put a bus sign on the road. It won’t stop drivers parking there but at least the bus driver has a chance to park there.
