Sully Sailing Club started their new racing season with two races on Sunday, March 3.
The Sailing Club in Sully Bay held the first races of their early bird series which were preceded by the club's prizegiving ceremony.
Prizes from the 2023 season were awarded in preparation for this year's competition.
Nigel Vick, a Committee Member at Sully Saling Club, said: “The races were extremely close and were neck and neck for the box of chocolates I had put up.
“It is nice to be back on the water, although it was cold the conditions were ideal with a light wind from the Southeast, which gradually swung into the Southwest.
“The weather was perfect for March and hopefully that will continue throughout the season.”
Steve Marshall, organiser of the races came first in both races and was chased hard by other sailors, he won the races in his laser dinghy.
