There are social tennis sessions taking place in Penarth.
'Tennis down the Rec', at Penarth Athletic Ground, is a new approach to social tennis, directed by Tennis Squad and Speakeasy Club, both located in Penarth.
The activities are facilitated by Rob Wedlake, Ellie Lewis, and Simon Clarke, and are inclusive of adults from various backgrounds and playing levels.
The upbeat, equipment-included sessions are set to music and fully funded by the Tennis Wales Tiebreak fund, meaning they are free for participants.
An interactive, game-based approach is used, promoting both physical and mental well-being.
After each session, players are invited to socialise at Old Penarthians RFC, maintaining the community spirit.
Those keen to continue playing are directed to Tennis Wales in the Park and local clubs Penarth Windsor and Penarth LTC.
To take part, bookings must be done online by visiting the Penarth Athletic tennis club website.
