A Penarth bowling club's AGM saw a packed clubhouse as members gathered for the annual meeting.
Windsor Bowling Club in Robinswood Crescent, held its annual general meeting, with members enjoying the club's facilities, including two floodlit bowling greens.
The club, known for its exceptional facilities, is one of the few in Wales providing opportunities for play, practice, or coaching from its many qualified coaches throughout the year.
The clubhouse offers a social spot for members, featuring a bar and a kitchen serving tea and coffee.
The meeting, led by retiring president Simon de Latham, saw all proposals and nominations passed.
The meeting also saw the election of new officers for 2024/5.
Jane Williams was elected as president, Howard Morgan as secretary, David Rees as treasurer, Michael Boardman as club captain, and Susan Boardman as ladies' captain.
Paul Halstead and Christine Davies were elected as men's and ladies' fixture secretaries, respectively.
Numerous other members were elected to crucial positions to ensure the smooth running of the club.
The club's continued success relies heavily on the commitment of its members, both in administrative roles and on the playing field.
This dedication was recognised at the meeting with Ian Mathias being awarded life membership of the club, and David Rees being named clubman of the year.
The club welcomes members of all ages and offers a variety of activities throughout the year, including a men's tour every May and a Spanish tour in October.
The club also hosts numerous social events during the year.
